Volunteers are needed to provide curriculum assistance to children’s groups during Nurturing Parenting Programs
Become a trained volunteer and lead classes and support groups.
Volunteers support the family and the patient simply by being present and available to assist with questions, special requests and other support as necessary
Assist with the patient and family when the patient is apprehensive, lonely, or actively dying or in need of the presence of a caring volunteer in inpatient and long term care facilities.
Greet families and visitors to the unit, escort to patient rooms, give unit tours, make coffee and keep family café tidy.
Assist with special projects and miscellaneous assignment sin our inpatient care centers.
Be a compassionate advocate for an elderly person living in a group or nursing home by serving as a court-appointed Guardian in our Guardianship Assistance Program (GAP). (Must be at least 21)
Respond to calls and provide hospital accompaniment to survivors of sexual assault during days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Assist with teen dating/sexual violence prevention programs given throughout Hamilton County and the Greater Cincinnati area. There also will be opportunities to attend community fairs and programs to provide information to the public about our services.
