Volunteering
Help with the annual Tour De Cure event.
Volunteers donate their spare time and the use of their personal vehicle to give cancer patients in their community a much-needed lift. So if you own a car, then you are already on the road to helping save lives.
Help in our gardens. Pull weeds, plant vegetables, and assist our children with picking fruit and vegetables that are ready to sell.
Sort, price & shelve books and other materials, also send out membership mailings.
Help with set-up, neaten and replenish shelves and tables, & assist shoppers as necessary.
Assist shoppers, organize shelves, and provide directions to areas within the library.
Your training with National Underground Railroad Freedom Center staff and adult docents will prepare them to serve as volunteers throughout the museum’s permanent exhibits and in the community.
You interact with our guests to make them feel welcome and appreciated. We like to know where are guests are from, why they’re here, and what their interested in seeing at our museum.
You can help create an excellent visitor experiences for guests through dialogue, interactive activities, and collaborative learning. Assist with K-12 tours, adult tours and exhibit interpretation for special events.
