Assist staff with a child development program. This may include tutoring, mentoring, or playing games with the students at our Joe Williams Family Center after school program.
Help educate our young girls by reading, chaperoning a field trip, or answering phones at one of our preschools.
Help by mulching & tending to flowers, organizing donated items and stuffing envelopes for mailings.
Help with writing letters of encouragement, cook a meal for the women, and collect personal care items for the program.
Volunteer needs may vary from camp but includes roles like camp nurse, check-in day support, pre-camp training support, etc.
Events cover a variety of topics and grade-levels. Guidance and support will be provided by lead event staff.
Meet with the girls on an agreed upon regular basis and guide them through the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
Hospitality is essential. Greet, welcome, and assist members with tours of the Wellness Center; wipe down equipment as needed; check with members to ensure their needs are being met; update member communications such as signage.
Opportunities include Child Watch, YMCA Early Learning Centers, before and after school programming, field trip chaperones, and summer day camp.
Holiday volunteers aid in the collection, sorting, wrapping, and distribution of presents for all of our Club locations. You can also sponsor a Club Holiday Party. We look for Holiday Party Sponsors at all 10 locations.
