Help fundraise in support of our young clients’ therapeutic needs and to spend invaluable one-on-one time with them.
Volunteers provide meals to youth at the Lighthouse Sheakley Center for Youth, the homeless shelter, and at the Mecum House. Meals can be made at home and dropped off or cooked in our kitchen.
Lend a helping hand to our instructors with performing arts classes.
Hold a dress drive with your school, church, friends and family. Ask peers to donate gently used formal dresses and accessories.
Help with administrative tasks.
Help run the club in your particular school.
Assist with PR/Media, Recruiting rewards, volunteer coordination, fundraising and chair person.
Help with bed preparation for planting seeds, flowers, vegetables, and herbs. Also assist in occasional weeding and harvesting tasks as needed.
Establish a relationship with the gardens and to see the results of your efforts over time.
We love it when people volunteer and make Granny’s Garden school their “volunteer home”.
