Do you like reading, and have the desire to help another? This is the perfect opportunity for you! Most tutors will need to attend two 3-hour training sessions at times mutually agreed upon by attendees.

Mentors are carefully screened, selected and trained in a professional manner. Each mentor teaches life skills, discusses life planning, and then guides the youth toward their goals. We ask that as a mentor you meet at least once a week with your mentee and make a commitment for one year.

There are a variety of volunteer opportunities for both adults and teens. Volunteers perform office work, transport patients, deliver flowers and mail, work at the Information Desk or in the hospitals’ gift shops, or serve as Surgical Waiting Area liaisons. The elementary school program consists of five (5) – 30 to 45 minute sessions.
