Volunteers serve as a liaison between the Alzheimer’s Association and local faith groups and congregations by sharing information about Alzheimer’s disease, free resources offered through the Association, and the ways to join our cause at local community events.

Sort, organize, pack and prepare for delivery household items for families in need.

Assist in selecting furniture, delivering and setting up in the home of a family in need.

Build, repair, restore, re-purpose and clean furniture in our NEW wood shop with volunteers from Cincinnati’s Woodworking Club. (No skills required)

Accompany neighbors around our choice food pantry, letting them know how many of each item they can take, bagging groceries, and helping them out to their vehicles. On slower days, volunteers might also sort donations and stock the pantry shelves. Our food pantry is open on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday mornings.

Volunteers can also help by bringing an activity to the residents. By participating in fun experiences, the residents can make new friends, learn new skills, and thrive again as they work towards independence. The possibilities are endless – give us an idea and we’ll help you make it possible!

The residents of Tender Mercies are always in need of household items and supplies to make their home more welcoming and comfortable. Donating items on our Wish List is much appreciated by the residents as they regain stability and learn the skills needed to regain independence and self-sufficiency.

There are several committees in need of additional help including Development, Golf Outing & Gala.

Provide session instruction in your area of expertise, and look for opportunities to connect our entrepreneurs to individuals and opportunities that will further support their businesses.
