Help clean the shelter’s cages and kennels, and make sure they are neat and sanitary for the shelters residents.

Help with a specialized talent such as photography, videography, knitting, card playing, etc.

Become a lead health minister or committee member.

Help by calling bingo games at our communities, arranging and delivering flowers to residents, visiting with residents, delivering hot meals

Help by providing clerical/reception support, training residents to use computers, software and social media platforms, and clerking at the Marjorie P. Lee Corner Store.

Be a trusted friend and guide to youth by developing a supportive relationship with them. Help ensure that the mentee develops important academic and life skills.

Prepare GO Boxes (for school breaks), GO Bags (for weekends), and help with food drives. We need volunteers to help with many tasks and projects at GO Pantry.

Our office volunteers help in the Safe Pastures office one morning or afternoon a week. Some of the duties include answering phones, giving tours, helping with mailings, and pitching in as needed with special projects around the house.

Our teachers for life skills classes and speakers for mentor trainings provide much-needed input for those involved in the Safe Pastures program. These trainings are scheduled on various weeknights dependent upon the academic schedules of the women involved.

For those who like to cook and get others involved in the process, this opportunity might be a good fit. Come and bring the ingredients to make a meal with the residents.
