Assist staff with setting up snow fence, straw bales, tents, registration tables, pit areas, etc.
Help racers swap wheels and get their cars back to the starting line for the next heat race.
Assist staff with checking in teams as they arrive on race day. Help direct teams to the check-in area.
Direct racers where to stop, help them out of their cars, and load cars onto the appropriate trailers.Please note that this is a physically active position. Volunteers will be required to move quickly and lift heavy cars. / Unload racers cars that are returned to Topside or the starting line from the finish line.
Community representatives raise awareness of Alzheimer’s Association programs, provide basic disease information, and link consumers to Alzheimer’s Association services.
Assist in preparing bulk mailings, making non-solicitation outreach calls, assemble folders for programs, help with various other special projects.
Volunteers serve on the Planning Committee of our special events or volunteer for a specific role on the day of the event.
Volunteer public speakers will deliver presentations using prepared training materials on topics related to Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
Help plan and promote the event. Also with registration at the door and assisting with set-up, clean-up and breakdown.
Become a support group leader for those effected by leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma.
