The Waterfront parks rely on volunteers to perform the invaluable task of removing litter from the riverbanks as well as assisting with data entry. Carol Ann’s Carousel has a need for an Ambassador/Greeter who can provide information and enhance the overall Carousel experience.
There is a tremendous need for outdoor and gardening enthusiasts to help maintain urban parks and greenspaces throughout by: Removing honeysuckle and other invasive plants, Planting flowers and trees, Removing and/or replacing ground cover
Sorting of donations (clothing or toiletries), Helping with laundry of guests’ clothing, Assisting with sign-up of guests and getting needed clothing as needed.
Help unwrap small bars of soap & prepare care packages for guests (soap, shampoo, lotion, toothpaste, razor, etc.)
Explore & collect research and publicaions on volunteer engagement. (Basic computer skills and database experience preferred)
Help on event days with check-in, food, leading a volunteer team & clean-up.
Write content for the Cincinnati Cares social media channel. Help increase our following with ideas for hashtags, etc. (Basic computer skills and database experience preferred)
Adults as well as high-school students are needed for shifts of 90 minutes each for homework help and tutoring after school at 3 different locations in Loveland.
