Various ways to help at the local community center.
IKP provides one-hour group presentations to high school and college students who are interested in learning more the child welfare system and how we can work together to improve the challenges facing abused and neglected children. Special emphasis is placed on the power of healthy relationships, empathy and community.
Wish Tree Volunteers assist with making ornaments, delivering ornaments, picking up gifts and delivering to center, wrapping gifts and assisting with delivery to Seniors.
We can engage volunteers to help serve the food, desserts, help members carry trays during lunch and help with any games or special activities that are included at our parties.
Volunteers help collate various mailings at the center i.e. Newsletters, invitations, etc
Volunteer at our events such as: our Gala, Golf Tournament, JDRF One Walk, and JDRF Ride.
Participate, inform, and advocate for Multiple Sclerosis.
Help out at the walks, bike events, Muck Fest, and more.
Help children improve their diabetes management skills while at camp.
During the month of November, help spread awareness and contribute to the cause.
