About usOur mission is to provide a historic community gathering place for learning, sharing and celebrating. For twenty five years, neighbors have supported The Carnegie Center of Columbia Tusculum because the building supports neighborhood preservation, serves as an architectural anchor in a progressive neighborhood, brings awareness of our unique neighborhood due to large numbers of visitors outside of the community, and provides arts, education and family programming to the community. A gift to the people of Cincinnati by Andrew Carnegie, The Carnegie Center of Columbia Tusculum (TCCCT) was built in 1906 to the specifications of the noted architectural firm of Samuel Hannaford & Sons and served as a public library until 1959 when it was sold into private use. Over the years, it was host to the FOP and VFW.
