| About us | Since 1976, School House Symphony has been presenting imaginative and multicultural music education programs to pre-school and elementary age children throughout the greater Cincinnati area. These programs feature performances and discussions of music from different cultures and periods of time, including folk, jazz, classical, and popular music. School House Symphony’s mission is “to foster both an understanding and appreciation of music from many different cultures and time periods, and to promote an awareness of how music is structured and performed.” School House Symphony annually performs 275-300 in-school concerts. |
