Friends of Harriet Beecher Stowe House

About usThe Friends of Harriet Beecher was founded in 2005 as the entity that manages the Harriet Beecher Stowe House for Ohio History Connection. The mission is to sustain the legacy of Harriet Beecher Stowe. We are committed to assuring that the national importance of the Lane Theological Seminary, abolition, and the Beecher and Stowe families are perpetuated. We also share the 20th century history of the House and its continuing legacy of social justice issues.
