Position | Master Provisions' Operations CommitteeThe Operations Committee provides review, guidance, and oversight for the overall operations of Master Provisions. As such, committee members are expected to develop a working knowledge of each operational segment of the organization.While the committee does not oversee day to day operations, it has oversight in providing direction on a strategic level.The committee may have duties assigned by the Board of Directors in addition to the responsibilities states below:Drive the strategic direction of Operations by recommending specific courses of action to the Board of Directors. Collaborate with Operations Staff to establish annual performance goals for local food distribution and outreach, international outreach and partner support, international orphan care, and expedited delivery services via social enterprise. Assist the Board in ensuring Master Provisions is meeting the annual goals. Provide advice and counsel on risk management. Offer input on plans or proposals. Provide recommendations on equipment, technology, and safety.The Operations Committee meets at minimum, on a quarterly basis to review and address current initiatives, issues, and provide feedback to the staff, as well as, develop recommendations for submission to the Board of Directors.The committee chair is responsible for preparing and presenting updates to the Board of Directors at the quarterly meetings. |
