| Our board | Social Venture Partners Cincinnati allows participants to go beyond philanthropy. We are the only funder that pairs grant-making with hands-on, in-depth coaching, training and guidance for Greater Cincinnati nonprofits. Our Board consists of our Partner members who are Committee Chairs as well as several at-large positions. Our role within the community is to provide additional Board-level resources to nonprofits. |

| Position | Our Fast Pitch 2020 team is looking for team members to help plan this wonderful event. Using a technique borrowed from the venture capital and startup communities, Fast Pitch is a way to showcase and accelerate nonprofits making a difference in our city. It is one of many innovative programs of Social Venture Partners Cincinnati and is an 8 week long, nonprofit training program with professional fundraisers and storytellers. Selected nonprofits are matched with a Social Venture Partner to practice, refine and hone their messages before taking the stage to compete for more than $40,000 in grants and scholarships on March 31, 2020. Fast Pitch is the original nonprofit pitch competition in Greater Cincinnati. We have trained more than 120 nonprofit organizations in storytelling and are entering our seventh year. |

| When | Our Board meets the last Thursday of the month from 8am -9:30am. Our Board is comprised of our Committee Chairs and some at-large members, all of whom are Social Venture Partners. Partners are able and encouraged to join any of our internal committees as well as to work with our Investees. Meeting times vary for each committee and team. |

| Where | Our Board meets at Interact for Health (3805 Edwards Road) and most of our committee meetings are here as well. |

| Requirements | Becoming a Partner requires a minimum payment of $3,000 per year for individuals over 40 years old. Emerging Philanthropists (under 40) can join us for $1,500 per year using a graduated scale of $500 the first year, $1,000 the second year and $1,500 the third year. We suggest all Partners participate on at least one internal committee and work with our Investee organizations as needed. |

| On-boarding | Each Partner who joins Social Venture Partners is onboarded with our Executive Director to discuss all of the ways to be involved, internally as well as with other nonprofits in the community. There are a variety of opportunities and our more tenured members work to make sure that newer members are able to engage and find the most fulfilling experience for them. |
