Position | Master Provisions' Marketing/Communications CommitteeThe Marketing/Communications Committee provides expertise and guidance in developing an overall marketing and communication strategy to raise awareness of Master Provisions with the intent of broadening the donor and volunteer base.While the committee is not responsible for implementation of initiatives, members are expected to actively take part in developing the formal strategy.The committee may have duties assigned by the Board of Directors in addition to the responsibilities stated below:Increase brand awareness in the community through consistent messaging and finding public speaking opportunities for staff and/or board members. Develop a communications plan to reach target audiences likely to have an interest in, and align with, the mission of Master Provisions. Facilitate networking opportunities for staff and board. Gather intelligence on organizations like Master Provisions, staying abreast of current trends and developments. Monitor the presentation of the brand, ensuring marketing materials stay relevant to the audience. Work in conjunction with the Fund Development Committee on Special Events and Fundraising Campaigns.The Marketing/Communications Committee meets at minimum, on a bi-monthly basis to review and address current initiatives, issues, and provide feedback to the staff, as well as, develop recommendations for submission to the Board of Directors.The committee chair is responsible for preparing and presenting updates to the Board of Directors at the quarterly meetings. |
