Connect Clermont Action Teams

Action Teams will provide leadership to specific goal areas of the Agenda for the Future. Action Team members will provide expertise and influence, and will develop strategies to advance the goals and achieve the charge of each Action Team.  Action Teams focus on the theme areas of Jobs, Education, Health, and Vibrancy.

RequirementsThe Action Teams will Lead, Support, Serve, Plan and Advocate.Lead: Connect Clermont is charged with carrying out initiatives and activities to achieve the goals of the Agenda for the Future. In order to effectively carry out these responsibilities, each Action Team member is expected to advance our targeted outcomes by:
  • Contribute their expertise to the achievement of the Action Team Charge.
  • Reading and monitoring Connect Clermont Activities by subscribing to Cerkl newsletter.
Serve: The ability of the Organization to achieve the goals of the Agenda for the Future is dependent on Action Team leadership and commitment. Each member should be prepared to:
  • Complete a term of service on one action team.
  • Participate in the identification and recruitment of new action team members.
Plan: The Action Team is responsible for carrying out the Charge of the Action Team and in partnership with the governing board, determining the actions and initiatives that will achieve these goals.  Each member should be prepared to:
  • Attend at least 75% of scheduled action team meetings to which they are assigned
  • Actively engage in discussions regarding goals, course, and direction of the Action Team
  • Contribute expertise in areas related to Action Team charge for the good of the organization and Clermont County.
Advocate: Each action team member is an ambassador to the community for Connect Clermont and the County as a whole. Each member should be prepared to:
  • Share program successes with friends, business contacts, civic clubs, and other potential supporters
  • Actively seek to identify opportunities to advance the Action Team charge
