PositionRenaissance Covington (RCOV), is a 501(c)3 focused on amplifying the vibrancy of downtown Covington to socially and economically activate the area. We run a variety of programs and initiatives which you may be familiar with including, Covington Farmers Market, MORTAR Covington, public wifi, and Creative Placemaking programming. We utilize the Main Street 4-Point Approach as a framework to make “great things come together.”We are seeking committee members to serve on one of our three committees:
  • Promotion sells a positive image of the commercial district and encourages consumers and investors to live, work, shop, play, and invest in the Main Street district.
  • Design means getting Main Street into top physical shape. Capitalizing on its best assets - such as historic buildings and pedestrian-oriented streets - is just part of the story.
  • Entrepreneurship strengthens a community's existing economic assets while expanding and diversifying its economic base.
Please note that per our by-laws, committee & board members need to either live or work in Covington.
