Our board | NEST currently has a working board that takes an active role in operations. We are redefining our board to include an advisory board, in addition to the Executive Board. |

Position | The secretary's duties include managing NEST communications, preparing or keeping track of board meeting dates, meeting agendas and minutes from the meeting. The board's actions during the meeting are later typed up and sent to the NEST's executive board as a recap of the events and the votes or decisions that transpired during the meeting. The NEST secretary will also coordinate/create a quarterly newsletter. This candidate will work cooperatively NEST's office manager and marketing board member.This board member has skills to :

Requirements | NEST is currently seeking board members with skills sets including marketing /communications/public relations, fundraising, non-profit legal experience, and grant writing. |

On-boarding | NEST's onboarding process includes meeting with the Executive Board, an opportunity to visit the program on-site, and a binder of materials is provided and reviewed with a current member of the board. |
