There are currently 16 Board of Directors including 4 Executive Committee members and 11 Advisory Group members. The World Affairs Council does have a working board with a set of committees. When you become a board member, you receive a board book and training session. We also provide you with a mentor who is on our board to help with any questions peer to peer during your first year. During board meetings, we use a consent agenda for routine materials so that we can focus on decision making items at board meetings. Openness is key to how we work. Our board is a working board.
