Position | Cincinnati Therapeutic Riding and Horsemanship seeks an Human Resources, Talent Management and Organizational Leadership professional to provide oversight and expertise for hiring, workplace policies, compensation, evaluation, grievances/whistleblowing and layoffs as well as the policies and procedures pertaining to each. |

Requirements | Responsibilities of Board of Directors include: 1. Be informed about the organization's mission, services, therapies, programs and policies. Keep up-to-date on developments in the organization's field. 2. Advocate and network on behalf of the organization. 3. Attend, actively participate in and prepare for all board meetings. Review agenda and supporting documents prior to meetings. (One board meeting may be missed for an unavoidable conflict.) 4. Join one or more board committee(s)/task force(s) and actively participate in committee/task force meetings and responsibilities. 5. Make a philanthropic contribution to the organization. While there is not a required minimum contribution to serve the the board, Cincinnati Therapeutic Riding and Horsemanship does ask that we are one of your top three philanthropic beneficiaries. 6. Support and attend 75 percent of the organization's special events (number of events varies). 7. Suggest possible board nominees who may make significant contributions to the work of the board and the organization. 8. Maintain fiduciary responsibilities of the board. 9. Follow conflict-of-interest and confidentiality policies. 10. Refrain from making special requests of the staff. |
