Our boardThe Board of Directors for Faith Community Pharmacy oversees the business and affairs of the pharmacy by working closely with the Executive Director and staff to ensure appropriate financial management, compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, advancement of mission and adherence to strategic initiatives.  Board members actively participate in the advancement of the mission of the pharmacy and fulfill their duties by participating in bi-monthly board meetings, engaging in monthly committee meetings, maximizing relationships to grow engagement, utilizing skills toward pharmacy needs and contributing financially.  Quality, committed board members are essential to the success and long-term viability of Faith.
PositionFaith Community Pharmacy is looking for a board member with experience in fundraising.  As our organization continues to grow, it is essential for us to grow revenue to meet the increasing need.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for the mission of our organization, experience in fundraising and strong connections in Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati.  This position will work closely with the Executive Director as well as the External Committee in developing and executing a strategic plan focused on increasing revenue.

DonationWe strive for 100% board giving, but have no strict guidelines around financial contributions.
RequirementsBoard members are required to:
  1. Attend bi-monthly board meetings.
  2. Participate in one or more committees by attending monthly meetings.
  3. Contribute financially to Faith Community Pharmacy.
On-boardingAll new board members attend a half-day New Board Member Orientation.  Orientation helps new members better understand their roles and responsibilities as a board member, learn about the policies and operations of the pharmacy, become accustom with applicable reporting and familiarize themselves with strategic plans and initiatives.
Our missionThe mission of Faith Community Pharmacy is to provide necessary medication, free of charge, to those unable to pay regardless of race, creed or national origin.
