Board Member – Fundraising
| Our board | The Circle Tail Board of Directors is comprised of up to 13 members. Board members meet 8 times a year at Circle Tail and serve on committees such as finance, PR/Marketing, and Services. Board terms are 3 years. |

| Position | This board member will be the liaison to the Development Committe and will spearhead fundraising activities for the organization. This position involves reaching out to connections for major gifts, seeking grants, and building relationships with our supporters. We are a very active board so there will be hands on work as well as higher level governance involved. |

| Requirements | Board members are required to donate annually, attend at least 75% of board meetings, attend at least 3 fundraisers/events per year, and volunteer an average of at least 5 hours per month |

| On-boarding | Potential new board members are invited to sit in on a board meeting, meet with the Executive Director, Board President, and any other board members. The current board members then vote to elect the new member. |

| Our mission | Circle Tail's mission is to provide service and hearing dogs for people with disabilities at no cost to the individual. We also promote the human-canine bond in our community by providing low cost dog training services, educational programs, and Pet First Aid classes. |
