Our boardWe currently have 8 diverse board members from various industries. Our board is comprised of business leaders who share BBB Center for Ethics’ passion for equipping tomorrow’s employees today. The Center’s programs and services - all of which directly engage with individuals - providing the training and resources current and potential employees from all walks of life need to better their career opportunities, strengthen their ethical competency, and sharpen their sense of responsibility. As a board member, you're a committed advocate for a better workforce. We are seeking board members who are interested in and passionate about soft skills training for current and future employees. Board members with expertise in grants, fundraising plans, marketing, creating training content, and ethics are needed.

RequirementsWe are a small nonprofit that's looking for board members who are passionate about workplace training, specifically ethics. We are lacking fundraising expertise and marketing expertise. Advisors to help us create a new fundraising plan and new innovative ways to market our programs/services. Board members are asked to attend board meetings, donate, introduce us to possible donors, nominate businesses/nonprofits for our Torch Awards and attend our Torch Awards for Marketplace Ethics and our annual fundraiser. We are hoping to create sub-committees and are very interested in board members who would like to be part of this.
On-boardingOnboarding for the Center for Ethics starts with meeting current board members. The orientation meeting itself is a tour of our facilities to learn about our programs/services, board responsibilities, obstacles, policies, and finances.
Our missionTo provide ethics education, direction, and recognition to employees and employers of today and tomorrow.
