The Last Mile Food Rescue Board will meet for the first time on October 23, 2019. Currently has three members including Board Chair. We are looking to slowly add positions that have expertise as CFO, Supply Chain / Logistics Executive in the Food Industry and possibly other areas.
Last Mile Food Rescue will reapply fundamental aspects of successful food rescue models utilizing technology (e.g. 412 Food Rescue in Pittsburgh using apps, CRM, etc.). As such, the Board Member - Finance should resonably expect to provide financial guidance as Last Mile Food Rescue moves quickly from a year 1 budget of $100k to $2Million or greater within 5 years as successful fundraising efforts enable strategic investments in staff and technology for expansion.

Active guidance, near 100% attendance to Board meetings and demonstrated regional leadership experience in Corporate or Non-Profit organizations. A track record of individual accomplishments that benefit the region.
We are designing this program now. It will include experiential learning via visits to Freestore Food Bank, pantries and meeting individuals who benefit from food assistance.
We have developed a 5 year Financial model and can share upon request.
