Position | Scope: The Greater Cincinnati & NOKY Advisory Board is comprised of leadership representing diversified members within corporate, health and community entities – with the purview that the Society achieves optimal results driving priorities related to Mission, Revenue, Community Engagement and Advocacy. As a Board Member you will be able to strengthen our alignment with these priorities. Objective: The Advisory Board is committed to help steward a high performing, innovative and reimagined American Cancer Society that connects the Mission to tangible revenue growth; that evolves with demands from ever-changing generational priorities: that celebrates risk and is quick to course correct; that is relentlessly pursuant of outcomes that bring new impact and relevance within each community we serve.Member Qualifications and Requirements• Oversight, execute, and evaluate on the Market Plan that delivers on the Society’s goals specific to mission, revenue and advocacy.• Attend quarterly meetings.• Directly and/or indirectly provide a minimum annual gift of $10,000.• Open doors relevant to increasing patient referrals, revenue, corporate, media & community partnerships, etc. that support the Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky market plan.• Identify stewardship and recognition opportunities for individuals, companies, volunteers, and donors.• Identify innovative revenue opportunities to leverage the Society’s brand to assure future market relevance and growth.• Become an annual member of the American Cancer Society’s Cancer Action Network (CAN) and actively engage in our priorities with our state lawmakers and Congress.• Collaborate with Society staff leadership and other Board members to achieve market priorities. |

Requirements | • Oversight and executes on annual Area Plan that delivers on the Society’s goals specific to mission, revenue and advocacy. • Attend quarterly meetings and if applicable, participate in conference calls. • Directly and/or indirectly provide a minimum annual gift of $10,000. • Open doors relevant to increasing patient referrals, revenue, corporate, media & community partnerships, etc. that support the annual area plan. • Identify stewardship and recognition opportunities for companies, volunteers, and donors. • Identify innovative mission and fund-raising opportunities to leverage the Society’s Brand to assure future market relevance and growth. |
