Board Member

Our board	Board mainly consists of parents but we would like to broaden our board to have a well rounded core group with various skill sets. The board runs the school. The principal reports to the board. The board meets once a month and sets the annual budget, tuition, and oversees the development of the school

Position	Searching for additional Board Members for The Good Shepherd Catholic Montessori. Located in Madison Place, just 1/2 mile from Mariemont Square, The Good Shepherd Catholic Montessori is dedicated to providing an outstanding education to children ages three to fourteen in a Catholic atmosphere faithful to the Magisterium of the Church. Using the philosophy and techniques of the Montessori approach, including religious education through the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, our goal is to enable each child to develop as a well-integrated human being: spiritually, intellectually, socially, physically, and emotionally.

Where	At the school

Commitment	1 to 3 hours/month

Donation	We strive for 100% board giving, but have no strict guidelines around financial contributions.

Requirements	Requirements for board members - embrace the faith based atmosphere of the school, have an interest in Montessori education, attend board meetings, serve on a committee.

On-boarding	Onboarding: Meet with the board members who head up the Trusteeship Committee. Visit the school.

Our mission	The Flying Cloud is dedicated to the research, performance, and teaching of vintage dance from the early 1800s through the 1930s.
