We have a Strategy Board that acts as the working board for the organization and that is primarily filled with Young Professionals with little or no Board experience. We are looking for expertise in areas of study such as Law, Human Resources, Marketing, Communication/PR, Fundraising, and Governance. As well as indidviauls who understand the city of Cincinnati and the existing services and opportunities. It is equally important that the members be passionate about the population being served and the mission Formatted Board Requirements Board Requirements We meet once a month and are working on creating committees based on our Strategic plan and needs. We will have roles to lead committees and serve in other capacities. In addition to new members, we are currently looking for a Board Chair that has experience on a board, but not necessary as a chair. This person would work hand in hand with the President of Villedge to further develop board culture and overall direction of the organization. Formatted Onboarding Onboarding If you are intrested we would set up a one on one meeting with the President and discuss the work more in depth. After that occurs we will meet again to provide onboarding of the expectations, opportunities, bi-laws, etc. Then you will attend the next board meeting as a guest and then a final decision can be made about right fit for you and the organization.
