The VDC’s mission is to increase home ownership, eliminate blight, and support local business development in an effort to preserve and improve our unique neighborhood. The VDC strongly believes that encouraging home ownership is one of the most effective ways to attract residents who will be engaged in the well-being, growth, and prosperity of their property and community. With this core belief in mind, the VDC has continually made renovation efforts in SGV to transform deteriorating houses into high-quality, affordable homes in order to promote home ownership and encourage the development of SGV’s small business district. 2020 Board of Trustees President: Betty Ventura Vice President: Sarah Maguire Treasurer: Dave Evans Secretary: Philip Murphy Trustee: Brennan McNultY Trustee: Paul Rudemiller Formatted Board Requirements Board Requirements Formatted Onboarding Onboarding Time Commitment (hours/month) 1 to 3 3 to 5 5 to 7 7+ -- Parent -- Add New When Board Meets Where Board Meets Board Size --- not set --- Under 10 members 11-20 members 21+ members Board Donations We expect our board members to make sizable contributions.
