Our goal is to serve families by providing them with programs, services and education support to enhance their lives. Board Members, individually and as a group, are legally and fiscally responsible for the actions of the organization in accordance with the nonprofit governance principles of Duty of Care, Duty of Loyalty, and Duty of Obedience. Other responsiblities includes: developing an annual and 3-year strategic plan governing the activities and goals of the organization; raising funds and resources necessary to meet the goals of the organization; recruiting new board members; making all financial decisions; and publically representing the organization in accordance with the mission and vision. Attend 8 Board meetings per year; meet the 3rd Thursday of every month, except July and December; be active with projects, programs, and fundraising; and be a positive voice for The Loveland Initiative within the community. Board Members meet the 3rd Thursday of every month, except July and December; 7:30pm-8:30pm. Prospective candidates can live in or out of the Loveland service area.
