The Board of Limited Jurisdiction acts as the school board for St. Rita School for the Deaf subject to the powers and limitations in the Code of Regulations. In addition to the Code of Regulations, the Board is subject to the universal law of the Catholic Church, the laws and policies of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and the rules, regulations, and policies of the Catholic Schools Office of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Board Description Based on the authority granted to the Board by the Archdiocese, the Board is established to act as a decision-making group, responsible for the governance of the school in the best interests of the school and the Archdiocese. The board has the fllowing area of respsnsiblities: policy, mission, planning, school operations, board operations, evaluation of Head of School, finance, community partnerships, and board positions.
