The group currently consists of five members. The goal is to reach and maintain a total of 10. The main attribute needed to be a part of this group of extraordinary young women and men is the commitment and passion for our mission of Building Hope and Strengthening lives of those we serve. Formatted Board Requirements Visual Text Board Requirements Roles and Responsibilities include: Meetings are "as needed" by the YP group; Plan and execute a minimum of three service projects a year, for SJO or in conjunction with another non-profit; Plan and execute a minimum of two fundraising events a year; Be an ambassador for SJO, building awareness in the community as opportunities present themselves; Work with SJO development team to create and distribute marketing materials as needed. The first step will be to schedule a SJO tour and meeting with Jim Jenkins of the Development Department ( jim.jenkins@sjokid.org ). Following the meeting and tour, a time will be set up to meet the YP group at one of their meetings. A follow up call will be schedule to discuss the joining of the YP group.
