Our goal is to support the company’s mission and vision, grow educational outreach, create opportunities for community engagement, and maintain a presence as a leader in the Cincinnati arts community. Formatted Board Requirements Visual Text Board Requirements Requirements include Company Advocacy • Stay informed about the company’s mission, past and future projects, programs and events, and help communicate them to the public via social media and word of mouth. • Connect with potential donors, funders, and sponsors to help build a network of support. • Suggest and cultivate possible nominees to serve on the Board. Board Presence • Attend and contribute to all board meetings. According to the Pones bylaws, board members are removed after three consecutive meeting absences. • Serve as an active member of the Fundraising Committee, and other ad hoc committees as appropriate. Annual Contribution • $250-500 cash or in-kind due by the end of each fiscal year (August 31). Project and Program Attendance • Pledge to attend and bring one guest to a majority of projects or programs by Pones during each fiscal year. Annual Fundraiser • Help organize, plan, market, administer and attend the annual Pones fundraiser Formatted Onboarding Visual Text Onboarding Prior to joining the board of directors you will receive the the board member expectations to review and email a written bio that includes your interests, qualifications, and history of work. Current sitting board members will review your bio, share thoughts, and make a vote at the upcoming board meeting. If board votes on acceptance you will sign the Board and Organization Expectations agreement, sign Board Dues agreement, and send us a brief bio and a headshot of yourself to be added to our website. You will be invited to the next board meeting where you will meet fellow members be brought up to speed.
