Our current board has 9 members, would prefer to have 16. This Board are fiduciary agents of OVV; beyond monintoring OVV's financials, they are to act as ambassadors for our mission and help open doors to expand awareness and donations. Formatted Board Requirements Board Requirements Board members are to attend the 10 scheduled board meetings, sit on or chair one of 4 committees, participate and bring guests to at least one of our fundraising events, donate to the annual fund-minimum level is $1K-with the goal of finding, through various sources an additional $9K. Formatted Onboarding Onboarding A potential Board member is identified and invited to visit Ohio Valley Voices to learn about the mission, tour the facility and meet some of the children benefitting from OVV services. Members of the Governance Committee arrange to meet the potential Board member for vetting purposes as well as answer any questions. Potential Board member's biography is presented at next formal Board meeting for approval by members, if approved, potential Board member is officially invited to join.
