Looking to build on collective strengths, the publishers of Movers & Makers have created a nonprofit organization and intend to partner closely with Cincinnati Cares, a program of Inspiring Service. M&MP will be fiscally sponsored by Inspiring Service, providing the local entity with the full advantages of being part of a 501(c)(3) but with its own board of directors, bylaws and mission focused on providing what nonprofits in Greater Cincinnati need. While Cincinnati Cares will continue to utilize the technology expertise and tools provided by Inspiring Service, a goal of the partnership is to create a self-sustaining independent nonprofit solely focused on the health of the Greater Cincinnati nonprofit ecosystem. Additional insight in between meetings may also be requested from time-to-time. We encourage each board member to actively serve on one committee or special project to help further the organization’s objectives. We envision starting with 3 committees: Nominating; Fundraising; Marketing & Partnerships.
