They share a common responsibility for supporting the League financially, as well as through active participation in various League programs, events and activities. They also share responsibility for fiscal, policy and strategic oversight as well as for ensuring its compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Formatted Board Requirements Board Requirements Board members must have an affinity for animals and animal causes. They are expected to attend 8 of 10 monthly meetings annually and serve on at least one Board or operating committee.
