We have 5 standing committees: Finance (monthly conference call), Land Use (monthly in person), Education (quarterly in person), Fundraising/Marketing (quarterly in person), and Executive (as needed). Each Board Members is expected to participate on a Committee. We need Board members with Fundraising and Marketing experience. Board members are expected to attend and participate in our annual events, the Row by Row Dinner in late August (buy ticket/table, bring guests, paddle raise) and the Sunflower Festival the first weekend in October (volunteer time), as well as our annual Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast (Spring) and Dinner (fall).
