The GFMMM board is a working board with a chair, vice chair (now vacant), secretary, and treasurer. The GFMMM has three committees - outreach, fundraising, and infrastructure/operations. Each of the board members serves on at least one committee. Formatted Board Requirements Visual Text Board Requirements Board members are expected to attend 80% of all meetings, donate to GFMMM a minimum of $25/month, $150/semi-annually, or $300 per year, whichever is easier and participate in all fundraisers. All donations are used toward fulfilling GFMMM's purpose. Formatted Onboarding Visual Text Onboarding In order for prospective candidates to join the board there is a four-step process: (1) There is an initial informal conversation with a current member of the board to guage interest; (2) The candidate submits a bio or resume describing their qualifications; (3) Subsequently, the candidate meets with the chair of the board and perhaps one other board member (usually the Executive Director) to answer any further questions; and (4) Finally, the board votes on the candidate and the candidate is notified of the decision.
