Our role is to advise and support the president and CEO, who directs the staff . We set the agenda for the agency in construction of the strategic plan, budget approval, and provide direction president and staff. The board also assist in fund raising. The board has sub-committees including; Executive Committee, Governance, Development/Communications, HR, Congregational Care, and Pet Program. There are four officer positions on the board, President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer. These make up the executive committee. This committee meets quarterly. It is my responsibility to help establish, nurture, and maintain relationships that advance our mission. Further, it is my responsibility to ensure adequate resources are generated for our mission and that proper fiduciary oversight is maintained. Recommendation or receipt of a reference by the governance committee 2. Phone or in person interview with at least one member of the committee. 3.
