New board members may be added to the board at any time, after a majority of the current directors vote upon a nominee. Upon election, board members shall immediately be allowed to participate in board activities. Board members can remain on the board indefinitely. If unable to continue their responsibilities as a board member, directors can step down at any time as well, preferably with at least a month's notice. If there is an issue with the director, the other board members may remove that director from the board with a 2/3 (66%) vote for removal. (More details are in the CRRH bylaws.) There is a conflict of interest policy, which must be signed annually. Board Description Formatted Board Requirements Visual Text Each member of the board of directors shall contribute at least ten cash dollars ($10) to the organization annually. No contribution credit shall be given for in-kind donations. Until we acquire our collection location, each member of the board is required to volunteer a minimum of two hours per month to help with administrative tasks, including making contacts to partner organizations, potential donors, etc. After we acquire our collection location, each member of the board of directors shall volunteer a minimum of two hours per month at the Recycling and Reuse Hub to help with the receiving, sorting, or distribution of goods or other administrative tasks necessary for the day-to-day operations of the Hub. Board members shall perform other duties as may be defined by the board or the President. These duties may include: <ul> <li>Assisting in the annual audit of funds for the organization, according to funding source guidelines and generally accepted accounting principles.</li> <li>Identifying and meeting with potential funders to help obtain funding for the organization.</li> <li> Identifying possible partners for the Hub.
