Our target size is 9 to 13. CORA's board is an open and welcoming group. The experience lends itself to having fun while accomplishing great things and improving the access to outdoor recreation in the region. Formatted Board Requirements Board Requirements Board meetings are held monthly on the 3rd Thursday, and as a working board, attendance is of the utmost importance. Board members should live in the region and have an active interest in helping to preserve trail access for all, not just cyclists. Members are expected to chair a committee or act as the project manager for an initiative or strategic goal. CORA regularly sponsors, supports, or holds local events, and board members are expected to participate regularly. Formatted Onboarding Onboarding The CORA onboarding process is simple and straightforward. Prospective candidates will meet with one or more of the officers to discuss the position, answer questions, and generally ascertain their compatibility with the group. They will then be asked to shadow a board meeting and opine on what initiatives they would like to be more involved in. At that time, the board will make a decision and notify the candidate.
