Members are drawn from NKY and Cincinnati. Representative skills include marketing, music education, music, art direction, information systems, design/art gallery, accounting, purchasing, legal, local government and financial planning. Formatted Board Requirements Visual Text Board Requirements A BCM Trustee is a member of the Museum who contributes to the mission of the Museum through regular attendance at Board meetings, makes a yearly monetary contribution to the Museum, and is involved as much as possible in the following ways: 1.) Lends the Museum their personal time and talents on projects related to the Museum’s mission. 2.) Is a regular attending and contributing member of one or more Board and/or Museum committees. 3.) Contributes to the Museum's mission through personal philanthropy. 4.) Fund raises for the Museum. 5.) Attends Museum events and community events as Museum Board representative. 6.) Performs other assignments as approved by the Executive Committee and/or Executive Director. The Board shall hold a minimum of six (6) regular meetings per year, no fewer than two months apart. The President, Vice President, or any three Trustees may call special meetings at any time. Formatted Onboarding Visual Text Onboarding The election of Trustees and Officers shall be held annually one month prior to the new fiscal year. Trustees shall be elected from among members and associates. Each trustee elected shall hold office for a term of three years. Terms shall begin on July 1st and end after three years on June 30th. At the meeting of the Trustees in April (or earlier), the president shall announce the up-coming election of trustees and officers. At that meeting the Chair of the Nominating Committee shall distribute the list of Trustee with vitas; and also the names of the current candidates for President, Vice-president, Past President/Parliamentarian, Secretary and Treasurer. Potential members meet with Trustees or Executive Director prior to their nomination.
